Information

Located in a quiet cove, Tanglewood Resort and Conference Center along Lake Texoma will provide a tranquil Feast setting near the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. Lake Texoma is one of the largest reservoirs in the United States and is well-known for some of the region’s finest freshwater striped bass fishing. One benefit is that Feastgoers will basically take over the resort.

If you want a relaxing Feast with nice views of the lake or would like to engage in multiple activities, Tanglewood Resort can accommodate your preference. Tanglewood features 248 guest rooms including condos and hotel rooms. Amenities include fine dining to a casual pool-side restaurant and bar, plus three pools or hot tub, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, lighted tennis courts, Nautilus fitness center, hiking trails, fishing, boat cruises, wave runners and pontoon boats and an 18-hole championship golf course designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. There will be ample activities geared towards the youth and young adults. Other activities include kayaks, sailboats, stand up paddleboards and dinner cruises.

Nearby towns of Denison and Sherman provide additional restaurants and shopping. Downtown Dallas is less than ninety minutes away for those wanting to explore other options. Sunny days and moderate temperatures in the upper 70s during the day to upper 50s at night are normal for October.
